Meet Heidi.
Heidi Sarkozy is a board certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years experience. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in Anthropology Zoology in 2004, which gave her a solid biology and human anatomy foundation. Then she completed her Physician Assistant degree at Long Island University, in Brooklyn in 2007.
Her first job as a PA was in a busy plastic and reconstructive surgery practice at Boston University Medical Center, where she assisted in all types of plastic and reconstructive procedures, she also started her cosmetic injection practice there.
In 2012 Heidi moved to Los Angeles and worked with a prestigious hand and plastic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. There, she gained immense understanding of anatomy and participated in several research projects on breast and hand reconstruction as well. Heidi also became involved with volunteer work with surgical mission trips to Mozambique with a nonprofit organization called Mending Kids, where she would educate medical students and doctors on wound care and surgical techniques.
Her practice
Heidi moved to Maui in 2016 and this changed her life for the better. She started a cosmetic practice with Dr Michael Jackowitz at Minit Medical urgent care clinic in Kahului, Lahaina and Kihei locations. Heidi continues to serve the Maui community in both their aesthetic needs and also in their urgent medical issues.
Her goal
Nothing is more gratifying than being able to help a fellow surfer or neighbor with a medical issue or cosmetic concern. Her goal as a cosmetic injector is to provide excellence in aesthetic treatment and also ensure that patients have a natural and not 'overdone' appearance. She attends conferences and workshops frequently to stay up to date and learn the latest and best techniques for injecting. Her biggest compliments are from her patients who say they just look more rested or relaxed after a treatment.
